AUTO DOSING / DAILY USE

Make sure that the detergent dispenser is

correctly inserted

If the detergent dispenser is not correctly inserted,

a programme cannot be started, and the display

indicates that the dispenser must be inserted. A

running programme will be interrupted when the

detergent dispenser is moved out of its correct

position; the programme needs to be restarted

after moving the detergent dispenser back into

correct position.

Make sure that auto dosing is activated

When setting a programme, the auto dosing

buttons on the control panel are activated by

default (unless you have permanently deactivated

the auto dosing function – see section FUNCTIONS

/ SETTINGS) – the buttons light up, which means

that auto dosing is activated for both tanks.

If you want the washing machine to dose detergent

/ fabric softener automatically, make sure that the

button of the respective tank lights up.

Deactivating the tanks

If, for instance,

• you want to use a special detergent for which the

tanks are not prepared,

• you do not want to add fabric softener to the

washing,

deactivate auto dosing for the respective tank by

simply pressing the corresponding tank button on

the control panel.

If you dose detergent manually,

• deactivate both tank buttons (if both tanks

contain detergent)

• keep Tank 2 button activated if you want to add

fabric softener to the washing, or deactivate Tank

2 button if you do not want to add fabric softener

(provided Tank 2 contains fabric softener).

Supplies of detergent / fabric softener in the

tanks

When the supplies of detergent/fabric softener

in one of the tanks runs low, the display shows a

low level warning when the washing machine is

switched on, and also at the end of the programme.

In addition, the corresponding tank button light

blinks a few times. When this message appears

for the rst time, the supply in the indicated tank

is usually sucient for about two or three more

programmes.

To rell detergent: Open the ap of the respective

tank and carefully pour in detergent (or fabric

softener, if Tank 2 is set for fabric softener).

Take care not to exceed the MAX level mark

when pouring in detergent or fabric softener.
