Special wash cycles
and Options
Tablet option (Tab)
This option optimises washing and drying results.
When using Tablet, press the TABLET button; the corresponding
symbol will light up. If the button is pressed again, the option will
be deselected.
The “Tablet” option results in a longer wash cycle.
Hygiene Rinse Option
This option allows higher temperatures to be used.
Select the washing program, press the Hygiene rinse button and
the indicator light will switch on. To deselect the option, press
the same button again.
Ideal to clean crockery and feeding bottles.
Warning: the crockery and plates could be extremely hot at
the end of the cycle.
The Hygiene Rinse option results in lengthening of the wash
cycle.
Multizone Option
If there are not many dishes to be washed, a half load
cycle may be used in order to save water, electricity and
detergent. Select the wash cycle and then press the MULTIZONE
button: the indicator corresponding to the chosen rack lights up
and the wash cycle starts only in the upper or lower rack.
Remember to load the upper or lower rack only, and to
reduce the amount of detergent accordingly.
Extra Dry Option/Child Lock
To improve the dryness level of the crockery, press the
Extra Dry button and the symbol will light up. If it is pressed again,
the option will be deselected.
A higher temperature during the final rinsing and a longer drying
phase improve the dryness level.
The Extra Dry option increases the duration of the wash
cycle.
Child safety lock
A long press of EXTRA DRY button, will activate the
SAFETY LOCK function. The SAFETY LOCK function will block the
control panel. To deactivate the SAFETY LOCK, long press again.
Drain out
To stop and cancel the active cycle, the Drain Out
function can be used.
A long press of START/PAUSE button, will activate the DRAIN
OUT function. The active cycle will be stopped and the water in
the dishwasher will be drained out.
Wash options
The OPTIONS may only be set, changed or reset after the
wash cycle has been selected and before the Start/Pause
button has been pressed.
Only the options which are compatible with the type of wash
cycle set may be selected. If an option is not compatible
with the selected wash cycle
(see Table of wash cycles)
, the
corresponding led/ symbol flashes rapidly 3 times.
If an option is selected which is not compatible with another
(previously selected) option, it will flash 3 times and switch
off, while the most recently selected option will remain active.
To deselect an option which has been set by mistake, press
the corresponding button again.
Delayed start
The start of the program may be delayed for
a period of time between 0:30 and 24 hours.
1. Select the program and any desired options. Press the
DELAYED START button (repeatedly) to delay the start of
the program. Adjustable from 0:30 to 24 hours.
With each press of the button, the delay start increases by:
0:30 if selection below 4 hours, 1:00 if selection is below
12 hours, 4 hours if selection is above 12 hours. If 24 hours
reached, and the button is pressed, the delayed start is
deactivated.
2. Press the START/PAUSE button: the timer will begin
counting down;
3. Once this time has elapsed, the indicator light switches
off and the program begins automatically. If at the time of
the countdown the START/PAUSE button is pressed again
the DELAYED START option is cancelled and the selected
program starts automatically.
The Start Delay function cannot be set once a wash cycle
has started.
